David Pileski

Executive Trustee

Mayor David Pileski has served as an Executive Trustee on the Illinois Firefighters’ Pension Investment Fund Board of Trustees since January 2025 and is a member of the Audit & Compliance and Elections Committee. He brings experience in municipal finance, governance, strategic planning, and operational oversight to the Board, with an emphasis on transparency, responsible stewardship, and the long-term security of firefighter retirement benefits.

A fourth-generation resident of Roselle, Pileski has served as Mayor since 2021 and previously served as a Village Trustee. His municipal leadership has focused on infrastructure investment, fiscal stewardship, economic development, public safety, and long-term strategic planning. He is also a past president of the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference, where he helped lead regional discussions on public finance, transportation funding and governance, and legislative policy.

Pileski represents DuPage County on the boards of the Northern Illinois Transit Authority and Pace and serves on the board of the DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau. Professionally, he is a senior supply chain operations and automation leader at a Fortune 500 industrial distributor, overseeing teams and complex supplier networks across North America. His work emphasizes operational efficiency, data-informed decision-making, customer experience, and process modernization.

Pileski holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is pursuing a Master of Public Policy and Administration at Northwestern University. He is also a member of the 2025 class of Edgar Fellows.
