The candidate application for the Executive Trustee Election is now available on FPIF's website [link].
Election Details:
- Voters will elect two Executive Trustees to serve a four-year term that begins January 2, 2025.
- Election Date: December 2, 2024.
Eligibility:
- Candidates must be a mayor, president, chief executive officer, chief financial officer, or other officer, executive, or department head of a municipality or fire protection district that has a participating pension fund who is in continuing service from the date of application through the election date.
Nomination Process:
- To qualify, all candidates must submit a completed application and be nominated by a petition signed by no fewer than 20 individuals who, as of the date of signing, were mayors or presidents of municipalities or fire protection districts that have participating pension funds.
- Nomination petitions are due by 5 pm on July 31, 2024.
