Executive Trustee Vacancy

The FPIF Board of Trustees has announced the vacancy of an Executive Trustee position. 

In accordance with FPIF’s governing statute and board rules, the Board of Trustees is responsible for filling this vacancy by appointment. The position will be filled by an Employer Executive of a municipality or fire protection district that has a participating pension fund.

“Employer Executive” means a person who is a mayor, president, chief executive officer, chief financial officer, or other officer, executive, or department head of a municipality or fire protection district that has a participating pension fund.

The appointed trustee will serve until January 3, 2027. A special election to complete the remainder of the 4-year term will take place alongside the 2026 Executive Trustee election.
