Herb Roach

Executive Trustee

Herb Roach has served as an Executive Trustee on the FPIF Board of Trustees since January 2021. Herb currently serves as a member of the Investments & Operations Committee.

Herb served as Mayor of O’Fallon since May 1, 2017, after serving on the City Council from 2011 – 2017.

Herb has over 40 years of executive management experience with manufacturing, distribution and financial organizations, and experience in business development, budgets, organizational development and strategic planning.

For over 30 years, Herb has actively volunteered his time and effort through many civic and charitable boards and committees on the local, state and national level such as: Former Member and Chairman of Employer Advisory Board to the Dept. of Labor in Washington, D.C, Member of the Metro East Small Business Development Advisory Board, Member and President of District 90 School Board, Member of the State of Illinois Board of Education where he served as chair of the Technology Committee, Past Member of the Board of Directors for the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce and Past Member of the Board of Directors of Lindenwood University.

Herb currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Municipal League, is Vice Chairman of Illinois Transportation Planning Committee of the East-West Gateway Council of Governments, Vice-President of the Southwestern Illinois Trade & Investment Council, and is a member of the O'Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce, O'Fallon Rotary, American Legion and the Knights of Columbus.

He is a native of O’Fallon and has three children with his wife, Nancy.
